What is the Chamber?
The Chamber of Cannabis is a non-profit organization designed to unite cannabis industry professionals who strive to build a more inclusive industry. We focus on strengthening commerce, improving justice, and positively impacting the cannabis community so that we may lead the state and nation in best practices. The Chamber provides opportunities to connect, share resources, and collaborate with other like-minded folks.
Is the Chamber a nonprofit?
Yes. We are a registered 501(c)(6) organization.
Where is the Chamber located?
The Chamber was founded in Nevada, but we have members around the world!

What is the Chamber’s political position?
The Chamber proudly provides a nonpartisan platform for candidates who work with and support the growth of the cannabis industry.
How does the Chamber work with the CCB?
The Chamber dialogues publicly with the CCB at the regulator’s monthly meetings, representing the interests and concerns of the industry and those working to enter the industry. We are also represented through President Tina Ulman who serves on the CCB’s Advisory Subcommittee on Social Equity.
How can the Chamber help your business or product succeed in Nevada cannabis?
The Chamber is the gateway to Nevada’s cannabis industry. We are a coalition of more than 160 businesses, licensees, media, and community organizations.

How do I get a job in the industry?
Get an Agent Card! All cannabis professionals must have a Cannabis Agent Card with the state of Nevada. The Agent Card is issued by the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB) and a background check must be completed as part of the application process. There are limitations on who can work for or volunteer at a cannabis business: Must be 21 years or older. Cannot have been convicted of an excluded felony offense.
How do I get an agent card?
Applying for an Agent Card is a multi-step process. You can create or sign into your account through the Cannabis Customer Portal here.
What are Nevada’s cannabis laws?
Nevada’s cannabis regulations are considered by many to be the “Gold Standard” for legalization in the United States. To learn more about Nevada’s Cannabis laws, go to the CCB’s website.
Who makes up the cannabis industry?
The cannabis industry is composed of professionals, advocates, and community members who believe in the power of cannabis and, more importantly, the power of the people behind the plant.
Who governs the Nevada cannabis industry?
In Nevada, the cannabis industry is governed by the CCB and the Executive Branch, including the Governor, and Attorney General’s office. County commissioners and legislators of municipalities also play a part in the regulation of cannabis establishments at different jurisdictional levels.

Are my membership dues or donations tax deductible?
Yes. Unless you are a cannabis licensee, in which case we urge you to join us as we continue to fight for just cannabis laws, including banking reform!

Where do my membership dues go?
